Mid-1990s Brian Hayward San Jose Sharks Limited-Edition signed 2/3 Replica Goalie Mask by TD.
Offered for your consideration is this mid-1990s Brian Hayward limited-edition goalie mask (2/3 scale). The mask limited-edition number is handwritten on the inside of the helmet along with a TD Sports Collectibles embossed gold seal numbered. The mask is in very nice condition overall with fresh and strong colors and is complete with interior padding, forehead cloth and chin strap. The foam padding on the interior of the mask looks yellowed on the photos but is actually more of a tan color. The mask has normal wear/tear otherwise the paint is really nice overall. The black base features a nameplate is nice and clean with a somewhat rough edge of the nameplate on the upper right corner. The black plastic base has somewhat rough corners which seem to be the way it was manufactured. A great piece to display in your goalie mask collection!
These masks were marketed by TD Sports Collectibles and Tatoo Distributing, Inc. in the mid-1990s (with stickers on bottom of the base including logo of The Mask by Greg Harrison) and one of those companies was owned by Brian Hayward (goalie who played in the NHL for the Winnipeg Jets, Montreal Canadiens and San Jose Sharks). This is a quality mask and exact 2/3 replica of the goalies actual mask. Each mask was limited to 750 and each is numbered inside the mask. Each mask also has a TD Sports Collectibles gold seal which is displayed on the inside of the mask (some masks missing this seal due to age). Every mask comes with a black base and pedestal so they can be easily displayed.
